This alien gun was sculpted using chavant clay on top of sika block carvings, molded with different techniques with silicone such as block molds and brush on molds. Some brush on silicone molds were strenghened with plaster or fibreglass jackets. The soft red parts were cast in Ecoflex silicone, and the bone housing was cast in PU resin. The paint and finishes on the bone were made using acrylic paint washes and lacquer topcoat, and the silicone finishes were made with a mix of silicone pigments and Psycho Paint diluted with NOVOCS agent. The gullet tube is an expendable plastic tube with silicone brushed on top. The shark teeth on the top and the trigger are 3d scans printed in resin and painted. The middle soft part is made to glow up with fairy lights and it pulsates by pumping air into it. The stringlights and the tubes, that are connected to it, exit out the gullet tube and are manually operated behind the camera.
